In summary, it really doesn't matter, because it's the ongoing practice of so-called "religious people," especially White people of privilege, to "pick and choose" just how relevant the alleged "inspired words of God" are to them and to the rest of their flock. Just ask the United Methodist Church where no matter what the Bible states, homosexuality is, at best, a matter of religious interpretation. Frankly, let's also thank the United Methodist Church for making it so much easier to ignore everything else about the Bible, which more and more people consider as nothing more than a piece of trash, not worth the parchment or paper its written on.

The United Methodist Church has jumped on the political bandwagon to support everything and anything involving homosexuality and the LGBTQI movement. On May 18, 2015, the Connectional Table, a governing committee of the United Methodist Church, voted to submit a compromise legislative proposal to the 2016 General Conference that removes prohibitive language from The United Methodist Book of Discipline concerning homosexuality, while making only minor changes to the existing Social Principles. Notably absent from this legislative proposal is a concurrent legislative proposal that also removes specific scriptures from all Bible translations (KJV, NKJV, NLT, GW, CEB, MSG, NET Bible, TLB, ASV, ERV, etc.) used by the United Methodist Church that clearly prohibit homosexuality.

Clearly, the United Methodist Church, consistent with all other religions, has yet again decided to pick and choose which portions of the so-called “inspired words of God” it deems worthy to believe or not to believe. Of course, Black people have experienced the blatant hypocrisy of religious dogma and “White privilege” throughout the thousands and thousands and thousands of years of existence of the Bible, or Quran, or Torah, etc. Before granting so-called "equal rights" to sub-cultures within sub-cultures, why not give equal rights to the most oppressed and enslaved people in the U.S., Native Americans and Black people?

Oh, and don't think Islam is any better. Iran carries out more sex change operations than any other nation in the world except for Thailand. It is sanctioned as a supposed "cure" for homosexuality, which is punishable by death under Iranian law (what happened to "Thou shalt not kill"??). The government even provides up to half the cost for those needing financial assistance, and equally important, a sex change is recognized on the birth certificate (Eureka, you've been "reborn!"). Now that the LBGT lifestyle is acceptable socially, politically and successfully coerced throughout the faith-based community, what about the rights of bigamists and polygamists and pedophiles? Don't they have "rights" too?? The Bilble clearly documents how men had multiple wives, and marriage of pre-teen girls to grown men was or is prevalent in cultures throughout the world - including the United States. So, since Biblical standards are no longer relevant and are easily ignored, what's wrong with having multiple wives and multiple husbands, and having sex with and marrying children??

Moving forward, let's embrace the "LGBTQIBPP+QAAPX"

LGBTQIBPP+QAAPX. Did we miss anyone?? Probably, because this acronym continues to grow (LGBTTQQIAAP), so expect another Johnny-come-lately group wrongly excluded will surely add their letter to the aforementioned acronym. There's a class action lawsuit (bigamists, polygamists, and pedophiles vs. the U.S. Government) just waiting to happen, and the ACLU and the U.S. Supreme Court better get ready!

Even before the dawn of religious scriptures (Tora, Quran, Bible, Book of Mormon, etc.), birth defects of some form or another occurred (and always will), so dealing with people born with both male and female genitalia is nothing new. Yet, for some reason, those "crazy people" who wrote religious scriptures "inspired by the word of God" determined that human relationships would be best served by anchoring societal development to a linear bonding of "males" and "females." But now, since the church and government have opened the door on "marriage equality," it's hypocrisy to give significance to any so-called high-and-righteous religious principles, because as with the Ten Commandments, the moral compass was never etched in stone:

T Transgender
People who have a gender identity, or gender expression, that differs from their assigned sex. Transgender people are sometimes called transsexual if they desire medical assistance to transition from one sex to another.

People who identify as or are questioning their sexual identity.

Individuals who identify with gray asexuality are referred to as being gray-A, or a gray ace, and make up what is referred to as the "ace umbrella". P Pansexual The terms pansexual, omnisexual, fluid and queer-identified are regarded as falling under the umbrella term bisexual (and therefore are considered a part of the bisexual community).

Keep in mind, before the genocide and ongoing imprisonment (reservations) of Native Americans, and before the enslavement of Black people, during the enslavement of Black people, and after the so-called end of slavery, nevertheless, Bible-thumping, church-going White men and women actively demonstrated their contempt of the Bible and contempt of the so-called "Word of God" by openly killing Native Americans AND owning, beating, raping and killing Black people.

As far as the "Golden Rule" is concerned, historically and today, the clear majority of White people want nothing to do with it, and White people intentionally opt out of compliance to the "Golden Rule" whenever doing so conflicts with White-privilege.

4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy

College and professional football, as well as shopping, sleeping, and everything else have supplanted the sabbath.

5. Honour thy father and thy mother It's a common practice for children to disobey their parents; and some children kill their parents.

6. Thou shalt not kill Throughout human history, humans have always killed humans, and often because they've been "inspired by the word of God."
