Ernie Chambers
"The People's Champion"

"As a Douglas County Commissioner I will fight
for people. I will restore accountability, fiscal responsibility, and transparency to the Douglas County Board. I will not spend time in smoke filled back rooms with the donor class making deals without the people's vote. Nor will I secretly sit on non-profit public and/or private sector corporate boards. I have ideas on the way to address issues facing our young prople. Ideas that I think the people will agree with."

In the "court of public opinion" the current
County Commissioner for District 3

Chris Rodgers is "in bed with" Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine to build a juvenile jail to increase the incarceration of minority youth.

Chris Rodgers is "in bed with" Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine who refused to call for a grand jury investigation of Jake Gardner for the murder of James Scurlock.

Chris Rodgers is "in bed with" politicians and business leaders who support the continuation of poor education and poorly run schools in north Omaha and south Omaha.

Chris Rodgers is "in bed with" pervasive mediocrity and perpetually waiting for someone to tell him what to do, instead of demonstrating civic and political leadership.
