In summary, the most surefire "methods" to get elected remain:

1. Lie.

2. Be filthy rich and essentially "buy" the election.

3. Have your political campaign financed by filthy rich sponsors, businesses, or political parties who'll control you like a puppet on a string.

However, sometimes engaging in deceitful practices will prompt a criminal investigation, and an indictment.

'Nuff said!
