Bill Maher vs. Federal Election Campaign Laws!

As established and defined by Federal Election Campaign Laws, § 597. Expenditures to influence voting - Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

At forty-nine-(49) minutes and thirteen-(13) seconds [49:13] into the October 18, 2019 episode of "Real Time with Bill Maher," Maher conveyed his intention as "serious."

At forty-six-(46) minutes and twenty-two-(22) seconds [46:22] into the October 18, 2019 episode of "Real Time with Bill Maher," (click photo to watch video) Bill Maher intentionally used: (1) the bully-pulpit of his HBO-TV show; and (2) his personal wealth; to directly and specifically "influence" and "solicit" presidential candidate Donald Trump to accept his personal bribe of $1,000,000 USD plus another $1,000,000,000 USD from one-thousand additional persons to resign from office as the President of the United States, and terminate his re-election campaign, thereby withholding his vote for presidency of the United States of America.

So, do we ignore Maher's latest diatribe against President Trump as yet another comedy shtick; or using Maher's own words, do we accept his diatribe as "serious," just like any person who solicits or extorts or otherwise engages in a criminal act, as Joe Halderman did to comedian David Letterman?

A complaint could be, should be filed with the Federal Election Commission.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

1. The Justice Department files charges against Bill Maher, and all of his (1,000?) co-conspirators, including HBO and Time-Warner for allegedly "offering President Trump $1,001,000,000" in violation of Federal Election Campaign Laws; or

2. President Trump and the Justice Department entrap Bill Maher, and all of his (1,000?) co-conspirators, including HBO and Time-Warner for allegedly "offering President Trump $1,001,000,000" in violation of Federal Election Campaign Laws; or

3. If President Trump accepts Maher's alleged offer of $1,001,000,000 and resigns from office, the Justice Department prosecutes President Trump, Bill Maher, and all of his co-conspirators, including HBO and Time-Warner.

Pick one, but keep in mind, it really doesn't matter, because the perpetual political pettiness (PPP) demonstrated by Bill Maher, Donald Trump, and their rich and powerful peers has absolutely no value for the overwhelming majority of U.S. citizens who live paycheck to paycheck.

I welcome your feedback.
